We have a running joke in my house. I keep telling Jason that he’s lucky he married a dude. I am not big into the things that stereotypical girly-girls like. I’m not a fan of jewelry- I insisted that Jason NOT buy me a diamond engagement ring, and I don’t wear my rings very much anyway. I have one purse that I use all the time, until it falls apart and I have to buy a new one. I don’t have a vast shoe collection, and what I do have tends to run more towards Converse than heels. If he needs to get me a gift for any occasion, if he buys something Star Wars, he’s pretty much going to make me happy. But when it comes to dining out on our special occasions, he has completely lucked out. Because no matter what the occasion (birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day, etc.), I’m not going to insist on Olive Garden, or Red Lobster, or some other fancy restaurant*. Where to I want to go?
Yes, I love me some B-dubs. Buffalo Chicken Strips with bleu cheese dressing is my favorite food ever. I could eat it every single day and not get sick of it. And Buffalo Wild Wings has the best buffalo chicken ever.
Buffalo Wild Wings is also PERFECT from someone like me who likes a little overstimulation. With 23 tvs, trivia games, and table top tablets to play even more games, there is something to keep me busy every second we’re there.
My favorite sauces are the Hot or Blazin, Asian Zing, Caribbean Jerk, and Thai Curry. No matter what I get, I know it’s going to be good. And spicy. So the next time I have a big celebration coming up, you know exactly where to find me. Pull up a chair and order some wings with me!*I recognize that some folks will see Olive Garden and Red Lobster listed as a fancy restaurant and will laugh. Some would even say I’m “slumming.” But it’s still better (read: more expensive) than McDonald’s or Subway, and frankly that’s how I roll.
